Ghanian Bishop Accuses TB Joshua And Chris Oyakhilome Of Practising Occultism

Ghanaian Bishop Isaac Owusu Bempah, Founder and Leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, has labeled two of Nigeria’s celebrated pastors as partners in winning souls for the devil.

In the words of the controversial Owusu Bempah, the founding President of Believers’ LoveWorld Incorporated, also known as “Christ Embassy”, Dr Christian Oyakhilome (popularly known as “Pastor Chris”) and General Overseer of The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet Temitope Balogun (aka TB) Joshua, are not “true men of God”, but leaders of occults, winning souls for the devil.

This claim, according to Owusu-Bempah, is based on God’s revelation to him in a vision as well as his own analysis of the scripture, works and conduct of the two popular heads of two religious organisations in Africa.

Owusu-Bempah said he once heard Pastor Chris saying he saw nothing wrong with homosexuality and lesbianism, and wondered which true man of God would lead his flock with such beliefs.

“No doubt he [Pastor Chris] is a friend and partner of TB Joshua”, Owusu-Bempa noted last week, claiming both men are dubious men of God who have a pact with the devil.

Like many people I know, I was on the treadmill of life minding my own business, making plans, getting the most out of my life when  suddenly I was stopped in my tracks and told to take on a role that not only seems surreal, but seems like I was asked to play a role in someone else’s life, that of a cancer patient.   

On Nov 30th 2011, I was admitted to the hospital from the ER when I went in for severe abdominal pain after eating some rice.  Prior to this, I had noticed my inability to eat a full meal – one mouthful after my brain tells me I’m full resulted in a sharp pain in the left side of my abdomen. I thought this a bit unusual since I know the stomach is supposed to expand to take in more than the brain agrees with when we insist on ignoring the gauge that says we are satiated. While I did not consciously ignore this, I thought it might be something as benign as an engorged liver since I was on an Iron rich diet at the time due to being anemic. So I went on a fast to detoxify my system and it seemed to work until I decided to break my fast on that November night.  

At Memorial Hermann Hospital, I was subjected to a battery of tests and the first thought that came to the attending physician was lymphoma but this was pending a confirmatory pathology report . He said It was no big deal and I would be OK after a few rounds of Chemotherapy. The lab report came back negative -  no malignancy.  It was all a terrible mistake.

Pregnant Woman Burnt To Death By Her Brother-In-law In Imo

In Umuekechi village Umuekwunne community in Ngor – Okapla Local Government Area of Imo State, a seven month pregnant woman burned to death by her brother in – law,it gathered that she was soaked with fuel and set on fire by her brother in – law with the clam that she poured water on his dog.It gathered that the children were eating in the family’s compound, the dog of her brother-in-law, Chibueze, strayed to where they were eating, and the dog depth its mouth into the children drinking water, the children told their mother who was doing laundry in the same compound Mrs. Uloma Njoku than poured water on the dog in other to chase the dog away

Her brother in –law Njoku Chibueze, who was in his room at the moment and saw what his brother’s wife did to his dog. came out to tackle her, wanting an explanation why would she poured water on his dog just because the dog wanted to drink water from a cup. That led to an exchange of insulting words between Uloma and Chibueze.

14yr old girl killed & set on fire by boyfriend because he thought she was pregnant

Shaniesha Forbes, 14, (pictured above) was killed by her 20 year old boyfriend who then burnt her body and dumped her remains on a beach just because he thought she was pregnant. The family of the 14-year-old Brooklyn girl who was allegedly killed by her boyfriend and dumped on a beach blasted him yesterday  morning for cowardly slaying her after he thought she was pregnant.

    Police had arrested Christian Ferdinand, 20, in Maine on Tuesday, where he had fled after he allegedly suffocated Shaniesha Forbes, 14, and burnt her body before dumping the remains at Gerritsen Beach.

"On the record, she wasn’t pregnant at all. As a 20-year-old man, that is something you could easily find out,” said her devastated cousin Kerry-Anne Thomas. “You had the courage and the balls to kill her and bring her body, and lay her on the beach. But you couldn’t go to the pharmacy to buy a pregnancy test to find out if it was actually true.”

Picture Of The IROKO Tree That Killed 31 People In Imo State

It was tears and anguish yesterday night in  Umudagu, Mbieri community in Mbaitoli council area of Imo state as no fewer than 31 persons have been confirmed dead following the fall of an ancestral ‘Uko’  tree estimated to have been over 200 years in existence.

The tree which fell around 8pm, Thursday night, during a rainstorm also left scores of persons injured and about 7 others either buried in the rubble or missing.

The size of the disaster was occasioned by the fact that under the tree is a location of a popular night market simply described as “Ukwu Uko market” meaning the market under the ‘Uko’ tree.

The market usually started at about 3pm everyday and terminated at about 9.30pm or 10pm.

The tree, our correspondent gathered had been a source of concern to the youths of the village who had repeatedly called for its removal to no avail. Elders of the community had described the tree as an ancestral landmark that should not be removed.

Cat inherits £10m empire after owner dies aged 94, becomes third richest pet in the world

An Italian cat has become the third richest animal in the world after inheriting almost £10 million after his wealthy owner died and left him the entire family fortune.

Maria Assunta died last month aged 94 years old and according to lawyers entrusted with her estate left the fortune in property to Tommasino, a stray cat she had found and looked after because of her love for animals.

Ms Assunta had a large property portfolio with homes and villas across the country, as well as several bulging bank accounts and share portfolios but no living relatives.

Lawyers Anna Orecchioni and Giacinto Canzona who are representing her say that she left the fortune to Tommasino in a will she wrote and deposited with them in their office in Rome in October 2009.

Mrs Orecchioni explained that under Italian law Tommassino  is not entitled to inherit the money directly and the will also asked for the money to be given to a 'worthy animal association, if one could be found.'

Hackers who thought they were gods: The bedroom cyber villains who hit FBI and Nato 'for fun' are jailed seven years

A gang of hackers who attacked computers at the Pentagon and Nato for ‘laughs’ were jailed yesterday for their campaign of havoc. The four British hackers acted as ‘latter-day pirates’, crashing computer systems and stealing confidential data including passwords and credit card details.

Southwark Crown Court heard the four were lonely, isolated young men when they turned to the internet.

Once inside internet chatrooms, they were seduced by the status afforded to practitioners of so-called ‘hacktivism’.

Three of the hackers were teenagers, the youngest only 16, yet they attained celebrity status on the internet, where one bragged: ‘We are gods now.’ 

They boasted about their ability to attack high-profile targets, including Sony, the FBI and the UK’s Serious Organised Crime Agency.

My Pikin Syrup Makers Jailed 7 Years For The Deaths Of Over 80 Nigerian Kids Who Used Their Poisoned Medicine

A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, today convicted and setenced to seven years imprisonment, two  employees of Barewa Pharmaceutical Company Ltd,  Adeyemo Abiodun and Ebele Eromosele.

The company and its employees were charged  on an amended six-count charged of the production of a killer syrup, “my pikin.”

After children using the medicine started dying in 2008, the mixture was found to contain engine coolant.

The paracetamol-based syrup, used for treating sore gums, was found to have been contaminated with diethylene glycol, used as an engine coolant.

It caused the babies' kidneys to fail.
