PDP chieftain abductors demand N100m ransom

kidnappers who abducted a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Elder Tes Sorae, last Sunday, yesterday made contact with the family members, demanding N100 million as ransom.

The PDP chieftain who also is the Chairman/Managing Director of Tomline Industrial Company Limited, was abducted when he arrived from Church, after the armed men killed four persons including his wife, Bridget.

Others who were killed during the attack included his two police orderlies and a driver while their daughter who was also hit by the bullet, is currently in a critical situation at the hospital.
It was  learnt that the PDP chieftain spoke to his family when they kidnappers contacted them.

NBC Bans D'banj Song "Oliver Twist"

Reports reaching me indicates that D'banj's new viral hit song "Oliver Twist" has been banned by the NBC on grounds of using "Lewd Lyrics".

NBC has effectively issued a circular round all media houses to stop playing the song on radio or TV stations with immediate effect.

Mob sets suspected robber ablaze!

A suspected member of a three-man robbery gang, was, yesterday, burnt to death by a mob in Festca area of Lagos State.

Meanwhile, the Festac police division has arrested two suspected robbers.
The burnt suspect and other fleeing members of his gang reportedly stormed an apartment on 111 Road, where they dispossessed their victim of cash and other valuables.

Luck, however, ran against them following an alarm raised by the victim, which led to their being chased. Unfortunately one of the suspects was nabbed when his colleagues zoomed off in their operational motocycle and left him behind

He was beaten to stupor and set ablaze before the arrival of policemen.

Meanwhile, a member of a two-man robbery gang, who was arrested by the Police, claimed to be a Private in the Nigerian Army. To the amazement of the policemen, he had an identity card belonging to the Military to back his claim.

But when the Divisional Police Officer, Mr Ndabobo Usman, was contacted, he reportedly made some contacts, and it was discovered that the suspect was fake.
Recovered from them, was an operational motorcycle.

THE first Nigerian Ambassador to Sao Tome and Principe during the Olusegun Obasanjo Administration, and Deputy gubernatorial candidate on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Borno State in the April 2011 general elections, Amb. Saidu Pindar, died today  in an auto crash along Kaduna-Zaria-Kano road.

New Coach Sabella names Messi captain Of Argentinian Football Team!

Argentina’s new coach Alejandro Sabella has said that he wants to build his 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ team around superstar Lionel Messi.
“He is the captain from now on,” Sabella told reporters ahead of Friday’s friendly against Venezuela at the 120,000-seat Salt Lake stadium in Kolkata.

Controversial TONTO DIKEH starts in another soft porn movie!

It appears that controversial actress Tonto Dikeh is not pertubed by the fact she is always enmeshed in scandals that has got to do with sex, cigars and booze....This is because it appears the actress made an apperance in another soft porn movie .
            The new movie titled "Strippers In Love" and its produced by Divine Touch Productions Limited and contains scenes where Tonto did a naked dance with a male actor who is equally half nude and caught carried away in the pleasures of the dance. Bomb explodes at former police minister's residence in Bauchi!

Unknown men, on Sunday, detonated a bomb at the residence of the former Minister of Police Affairs, Yakubu Lame, in the Bauchi State capital.

The suspects, it was gathered, came on a motorbike a few minutes after seven in the evening and threw the bomb into the Mr Lame's premises.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Mohammed Barrau, who confirmed the incident, said no property in the house was destroyed.

He said investigation into the matter had begun and promised that the perpetrators of the act would soon be brought to justice to serve as a deterrent to others.

When NEXT visited the house where the blast occurred, the flowers on which the explosive was dropped were totally burnt.

The security man at the gate told our reporter, "I cannot say anything on the incident because I was not on duty last night but all I can tell you is that that was the spot where the bomb was dropped."

He said nobody was in the house as the former minister and his family had travelled to Saudi Arabia for the lesser hajj.

A shop-owner close to the house who requested anonymity, said he saw a man who came on foot, dropped the bomb and left.

"When I heard the blast, I was scared," the shop-owner said. "The sound of the blast was so loud that it broke the ceiling of my shop. But we thank God nobody was injured and no property was destroyed."

He also said no attempt was made to pursue the suspect as most people in the area had gone to break their fast.

Why We Had To Bomb The UN Office - Boko Haram!

Yusifiyya Movement, also known as Boko Haram, yesterday, said it attacked the United Nations (UN) building in Abuja because United States  (US) and the UN  are supporting the Federal Government to  persecute Muslims  in  Nigeria.
One Abu Kakah, who claimed to be speaking  on behalf of the group, made the statement. He spoke to journalists on phone in  Maiduguri, Borno State capital, just as the US embassy said Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) had arrived  Nigeria following the suicide  attack.
Kakah said the  sect considered the US, the UN and the Nigerian government as common enemies and  would continue to attack them because they are infringing on the rights of the Muslims.
He accused the Federal Government of insincerity in dialoguing with Boko Haram, saying the only condition they would accept to talk  with government was unconditional release of all their members whom, he said, are in prisons all over the country.
